Don’t let the new Homebuyers Agreement hold you back from exploring open houses!
Keep these 3 KEY TIPS in mind when visiting:
1. **Working with an agent?** If you’ve signed a buyer representation agreement, make sure to keep a copy on your phone and share it with the agent hosting the open house.
2. **Unrepresented? No problem!** You’re free to tour open houses without signing a buyer agreement with the hosting agent. While an agreement is needed before viewing private homes, it’s **NOT** required for an open house.
3. **Signing the guest registry** is a must! It’s simply a guest book that shows the seller their open house was a success. It also serves as a safety measure for everyone involved.
